Congratulations2014 Eagle Scouts

Troop 31 of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish is very proud to have six scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a boy can receive in the scouting program. Under the leadership of Mr. Robert Laun and Mr. Bob Sauer these boys have achieved this honor.

To earn this rank, these scouts have successfully planned, managed, and completed a project. Each young man chose a project special to him that helped the community in a very original way.

Eric Knowles~Eric planted over 50 trees in the Angeles Forest. Graduate of Saint Francis High School.

Christopher Laun~Landscaped the L.A.P.D. recovery center in Joshua Tree. Graduate of Loyola High School.

Gregory Massimino Garcia~Helped to reopen the library at St. Louis of France School. Graduate of Loyola High School.

William Floyd ~ Installed a sprinkler system at the Woman’s Club in Eagle Rock. Graduate of Loyola High School.

Nicholas Sauer ~ Built a staircase on a hiking path in Griffith Park. Graduate of Saint Francis High School.

Charles Crowley ~Collected baseball equipment donations for a needy team. Graduate of San Marino High School.

On December 20, 2014 we will be having our Eagle Court of Honor to celebrate the achievements of these young men. Congratulations!
