Rite of Acceptance and Welcome Saturday, December 2 at 5:00PM Mass
The Rite of Acceptance is an ancient Rite that recognizes the Catechumens decision to begin the process of becoming a member of the Catholic Church through Baptism. We also welcome the Candidates, those who have been baptized in another faith or baptized Catholic as a child, but never catechized in the Catholic faith, into the process of full communion with the Church. Please pray for our Catechumens and Candidates during their faith journey. |

St. Nicholas Day Celebration
Sunday, December 3 after the 9:00AM Mass All are invited to our Annual St. Nicholas Day Celebration. St. Nicholas was known for his generosity. It is said that he gave a poor father money in order to prevent his daughters from being taken into slavery, as the father did not have the funds for his daughters’ dowries. The legend says St. Nicholas threw the money through the family’s window, which landed in their shoes drying near their
fireplace. Our “special guest” will have treats and gifts for the children. St. Nicholas Day Gifts
The parish would like to give a gift to each child. We are asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys for them. Please leave your donation in the decorated wagon close to the baptismal font. |
